Fat Tire Ride of Lake Geneva is an annual fun bicycle ride on paved roads around Geneva Lake Wisconsin. Beginning at 9AM with an unorganized start time. Begin the ride at your leisure from Champs Sports Bar & Grill in the City of Lake Geneva or The Ridge. Proceeding at your own pace, the ride is approximately 21.5 miles and the “rest” stops are evenly spaced. Participating businesses are Champs Sports Bar & Grill, The Boat House, The Owl Tavern, Gordy’s Boat House, Chuck’s Lake Shore Inn, Harpoon Willies, Lucke’s Cantina, Pier 290, Bar 55, and Mars Resort. The ride is held rain or shine and travels through Lake Geneva, Fontana and Williams Bay with great views of Geneva Lake and Lake Como.

Participants receive a map of the route, a pig roast dinner ticket and a general raffle ticket. Other events taking place during the ride are a costume contest which you must register for on the day of the event. T-shirts are handed out to all pre-registered riders. At 11AM T-shirts not picked up by pre-registered riders will be given to “day of registered” riders. If you cannot arrive before 11AM, someone else can pick up your T-shirt and packet for you. Additional pig roast tickets may be purchased for non-riders for $8.00 at Champs Sports Bar & Grill from 2PM-7PM.

Registration options – Friday, Sept. 14th from 5:30PM-7:30PM at The Ridge. Pre-registered riders can pick up registration packets and t-shirts. Non-registered riders can register at this time too.

Pig Roast is served at Champs from 2PM-7PM and is included in the registration fee. Additional tickets are $8.00. No drink coupons are included with the Registration fee.

The band Sweet-T will be playing at the Mars Resort from 2:30PM-5:30PM!

Pre-registration packet and T-shirt pick up at will be at The Ridge on September 14th from 5:30-7:30PM and day of at Champs Sports Bar & Grill on September 15th from 8:30-11AM.

Our Gold Benefactor is the Tree House Child & Family Center.  A not-for-profit program dedicated to our local children assisting them through the devastating experience of physical and sexual abuse and neglect. Our Silver Benefactor is the Open Arms Free Clinic, located in Elkhorn, WI which serves the health needs of the uninsured, low income and under-served residents of Walworth County.

Our Bronze Benefactors are Lake Geneva Museum, Geneva Lake Water Safety Patrol, VIP Services, Music By the Lake, Holiday Home Camp, Walworth County Special Olympics, Geneva Lake and Kishwauketoe Conservancy, Lake Geneva YMCA, March of Dimes, and the American Cancer Society.

You can enter the Costume Contest as an individual or as a team of no more than 10 people. Registration for the Costume Contest is an additional $5 per person. You can register the day of from 3PM-4PM at Pier 290. Winners will be announced for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place for both individual and up to 10 person teams at 4:15PM. You must be a registered rider to participate.

Free live entertainment is FOR WRIST BANDED RIDERS ONLY. Otherwise you will be charged $10 at the door as a donation to the cause.

1000 shirts are printed and guaranteed for all pre-registered riders. We will pass out left over T-shirt’s at Champs at 11am to those registering on 9/14  & 9/15. Pre-registration packet and T-shirt pick up at will be at The Ridge on September 14th from 5:30-7:30PM and day of at Champs Sports Bar & Grill on September 15th from 8:30-11AM.

We guarantee T-shirts to all riders registered via website or mail registration forms before August 31st 5 pm, 2018. This is when online registration will be closed and the registration fee becomes $40 the day of event. What ever T-shirts are left over will be distributed that day at 11AM at Champs Sports Bar. Any left over T-shirts will be sold at Pier 290 from 3-4 pm.
